Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mindlark. When you create an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may close your account at any time from your settings.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Services in good faith and in compliance with law. You will not misrepresent your identity, plagiarise or submit work you did not create, interfere with the Services, attempt to bypass the AI evaluation pipeline, or use the platform to harass or defraud others.

Content and licences

You retain ownership of the content you upload or create on Mindlark. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content to operate the Services on your behalf. Mindlark and its underlying software, brand, evaluation methodology and related materials are owned by Mindlark or its licensors.

AI evaluation

Scores, feedback and readiness signals produced by our AI models are calibrated tools intended to help you improve. They are not guarantees of academic, employment or any other outcome. You may appeal any AI evaluation by contacting support@mindlark.in.

Nova, our AI mentor, helps with your studies, projects and career preparation. Its answers can be wrong, so check anything important. Nova does not give legal, medical, mental-health or financial advice; for those, please consult a qualified professional.

Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing terms and refund policies are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our payment aggregator; taxes apply where required.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you breach these Terms, use the Services unlawfully, or expose the platform to risk. Where practical we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. On termination your right to use the Services ends immediately.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI evaluations will match any specific external standard.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or the sum of five thousand rupees (₹5,000). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally. Unresolved disputes will be finally settled by arbitration seated in Bengaluru, India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction in support of arbitration.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
